"Progress is progress no matter how slow. The pic on the left was 18 months post baby number 2. The pic on the right is 18 months post baby number 3 and 30 pounds lighter. If you're not happy with how you look but most importantly how you FEEL then do something about it! It took awhile for me to come to the realization that the only way I could change was if I actually got up and did something about it and I did. Being a mother and carving out time for yourself is hard to come by. It's not selfish. It's not choosing you over them. It doesn't mean you're more important than them. What it does mean is that you care enough about them to make yourself better. I want to be around for my children. I want to set an example for them. I want them to know you only have 1 body so you have to take care of it. It's so much more than a number on the scale and the way I look in my clothes. I want my body to be healthy and I want and need to be happy with myself. If you're thinking about making a change and you want to feel better JUST DO IT! It feels awkward and weird in the beginning but it's so worth it. I am not where I want to be...yet... BUT I know if I keep trying and stay on this path, I will get there."

From January 2024 l'm officially down 49 lbs! I’m off my insulin, my AIC is 5, lower doses on my other meds and hopefully off ALL my meds at my next doctor visit!
So don't ever say you're too old, too fat, not strong or can't lose because of bad genes, bad thyroid, etc.
Eat whole food, drink lots of water, exercise, get involed with an encouraging group of the people like EBBC and you can do it.
Don't get me wrong I work hard and constantly have to watch putting junk in my body but l've realized in my 69th year I'm worth it!! I do it for me and for my family!!"
